Inside or outside or both? Rinse outside with a water hose if there is major dirt.

The best way is to use warm water with a few drops of Dawn dish soap. Use an applicator to scrub the glass and a squeegee to remove the solution. You will need a lint free cloth to wipe the edges of the glass, but avoid using the cloth across the glass as the static that develops can attract more dirt.

I use vinegar & water with a drop of blue Dawn and a microfiber cloth to remove messy, dirty film off windows. Then I follow with a damp microfiber cloth that produces a streak free finish. Don't do it on a sunny day. Norwex makes a window cloth but my choice is SuperCloth, similar to what comes in a glass case. Well worth the investment imo.

For the outside of windows, my husband uses windex window cleaner that hooks to the hose. It washes the windows and screens at one time. Just follow directions on the container.
