How can I improve Formica topped table?

Had dining room table for years but bag of ice left on table caused the Formica top to rise slightly on one end. ANY suggestions or what I can or should do? Table is still usable but doesn't lay totally flat now.

The “mica” backing is ruined and I know of nothing to fix it. I had to essentially throw away a 1940’s chrome dinette table because it had been stored outside and had this problem.
If you want to paint Plastic Laminate paint on it after you sand through the raised area & Bondo it and sand again,
or you can Bondo a skim coat to smooth out the high-low transition. You’ll still need to sand to some degree to get the Bondo to not pop off.
then buy a PLam coating system and follow the directions to a T.

Try this simple solution. You may be able to reactivate the glue. Place a cloth over the area. Set an Iron to medium heat and iron over the cloth. When the formica is warm use a rolling pin or can of vegetables and roll over the formica to glue it back down.
If laminate is actually loose, you can glue it back down with construction adhesive. If raised because the ice melted and swelled up the wood under the laminate, there is nothing you can do except replace the entire top.
