A Rusty Garden Tool Gets a New Life
Now that summer is just around the corner, I bet you have a few rusty garden tools that either need to be replaced or repurposed. Before you throw them away you might want to try this easy idea to upcycle them instead.
We found this badly rusted garden fork in our toolshed a few weeks ago.
Shame, I have no idea how she got that way, but she still had a lot of potential. Her handle was still good.....
..... and that's all we needed to turn her into this sturdy doorstop
And it was real easy to do too. All you need besides that rusty garden tool 
is:
- PVC Pipe with a diameter of at least 8” or 20cm
- Cement
- MDF or Cardboard
- Glue gun
Make a mold for the concrete base using the PVC pipe and MDF board or sturdy cardboard. We just glued the PVC to the board with a glue gun.
Fill the mold with concrete and insert the handle inside. Once the concrete sets, cut the PVC pipe and demold.
It's that easy. And that old handle is just perfect for moving the doorstop around too

I created this solution for my tools that are still serviceable, however will be using your concept later today since I have some leftover concrete from some job sites. Love, love, love your tool storage. There's nothing more irritating than tall clunky tools falling all over the place and we never have enough space to put them all.
