He is an older post I think you stated you had purchased a pebble counter for a quest bathroom. Can you tell me where you bought it from. We can’t seem to duplicate what NaN Brendan posted. Thank you !

I'm not sure what this looks like, but I would suspect that the pebble countertop was made and not purchased. I would make a form ( melamine works well for bottom and edges) for concrete with sink cutout preformed so it doesn't need to be cut afterwards like a laminate top. Add a mesh reinforcement into the form. Mix and fill the form with a concrete that has pebbles instead of big irregular rocks (cement, sand, pebbles). Screed the top of the concrete (like doing a sidewalk) and tap the sides of the form to ensure concrete settles properly. Trowel surface smooth and form round overs on the edges that won't be covered by backsplash. As the concrete cures, expose the surface to water to wash off some of the cement and sand to leave the pebbles exposed. After cured, remove forms and install counter. A bead of silicone caulk (and gravity) will hold the countertop on the base unit.

I would make a practice slab about 12"x12" before doing the entire countertop. This will ensure you understand the process and show you how long to wait to get the exposed aggregate right. This can be repeated as necessary until you learn technique - take notes as you go. Your practice pieces can be used as stepping stones in the lawn flower beds or a walkway.

This is great detail. Thank you ! But I actually did what it open with river rock just placed in the counter top. My husband can’t figure out how to attach the faucet through all the rock

If the faucet is fastened onto the sink, then there is no problem. If not, you may need to remove some rocks for the faucet. A photo would help.

would you use plywood for the base and for the sink to sit on

Sink to sit on because if it sits on the plywood the river rocks would go all the way around it the sink but being a clear sink you would see in the center the plywood because the stone would not be level enough to put directly under the bowl Does that make sense ? Do you know what I mean ? Pic is attached of what we want to do
