How to put tension on my barn doors so they dont open so easy?
my barn doors open so easy I cant keep my dogs from opening them. is there any hardware that I can add to put tension on the doors so they are a little harder to pull open?

I've seen springs that install from the door frame to the back of the door. The spring twists as the door opens. The tension is adjustable so you can't adjust accordingly. Any credible home center or farm supply should carry them.
This is the spring you need. Instructions come with it. Tension can be adjusted. One end mounts on the door and the other on the door frame. Hex nut on one end to adjust the tension.

A simple latch would be the easiest thing but perhaps you could search online for a different idea.
