How do you get sweat stains off a karate gi?

I know this will sound weird , but I found the most amazing carpet cleaner called Folex at home depot for about $6 . It gets everything out , ink , wine , dust , even dried paint . It is a spot cleaner and can be used in a carpet cleaning machine .

one day my granddaughter spilled grape juice on a pillow , I tried the carpet cleaner on it , I figured I had nothing to lose , it worked !!! Since then I have kept some in a spray bottle in my laundry room !!! Good luck !!!

You could also try hydrogen peroxide.

Biz liquid laundry soap , which is not easy to find and I ordered from Amazon. Pour it on the stains and work it in. Wash in hottest temp the item tolerates.

I like my laundry stain paste made of equal parts: white vinegar, water, and baking soda, and a few drops of Dawn (lemon) dishwashing liquid. Store it in a jar with a lid and a label. I use this as a spot cleaner on carpets, shirt armpits, upholstery including leather, stuffed animals and who knows what else. Good luck!
