We have a similar style home which you are describing. We chose a very pale yellow accented with blue shutters. It really looks so nice. We also painted our door a shade darker than the shutters and it looks so nice. We used Benjamin Moore paint.

I think a robins egg blue would look great.
I was going to suggest a Cream (yellowish). I use Sherwin Williams Cottage Cream which with the western sun looks more yellow. I use white on the shutters and railings..
Since we have been having so much rain, everything gets so grimy so I am thinking about going to a very dark navy on my shutters and railings.
I want to white wash the brick with this color too but am getting some kick back from Hubs!!! HA!
Hello. Your personal taste/ decor style might dictate your choice. Some folks like bold exciting colors -some neutral.
I personally find browsing awesome visuals on Houzz or Pinterest web sites to help collect some ideas to consider/ exclude others in aspects of color choice and styles for paint decorating and refurb applications.
You might want to consider browsing over at these sites utilizing key word searches customized to your specific needs or interest.
It's a personal choice for all, but, I'd like to suggest a great color by Sherwin Williams......Butter Up in a satin finish with semi-gloss white for your trim. You can add a pop of color on your front door and with potted plants. Yellow is the most popular eye catching color when it comes to resale. Best of luck.
There are many shades of yellow so test them out on all sides of your home. The color will change from the front to the back depending on light and shade. But yellow is like sunshine and is inviting. Best of luck.
