How do you get rid of moles in your yard?

You'll most likely benefit from saturating your yard with Agricultural strength castor bean oil applied with a garden sprayer. You can add a few drops of liquid dish soap to make it better adhere.

Castor bean plants are quite effective at deterring moles (and the skunks and groundhogs), which are inhabiting your yard to consume grubs or earthworms. The grubs can be controlled with early, yearly Spring yard application of Grub X, or a three year application of Milky Spore, which is more costly, but after the third year application, should be effective for up to 10 years.

If your problem is due to earthworms, you can spray your yard with a combination of garlic oil, a few squirts of liquid lemon scented dish soap, and some cheap whisky, added to a "tea" made with chewing tobacco soaked in water for several days. Load all of this into a 20 gallon hose end sprayer and apply liberally to yard and non edible garden areas. The smell and taste should deter the earthworms, if they are in abundance in your yard.

Hello. The moles are likely eating insects- grubs in your soil.

I would love to find a solution too! I’ve tried to Tomcat trap and the Sweeney worms and they both didn’t work for my troubles. Some have suggested to get a cat - or- eliminate the grubs in the soil.

In master gardener classes the expert lecturer commented there are four possible solutions, get a cat, get rid of the grubs, get a trap or live with them.

Sorry to say I can say I've have not found my answer to eradicate these pests.

First, use "milky spor" on your lawns, that will take care of the grubs, next take "Lestoil" and pour it on the mounds or down them. It won't be long before they pack their bags and move. My brother has done this for years, and great results.
