Will putting epson salt in the garden be okay?

  • Yes, epsom salt isn't really salt. It's magnesium sulfate. Good for plants

    It will enrich colors of plants, help protect plants from calcium and magnesium deficiency. Scatter a small amount around roses, add a few tablespoons to deeply dug holes for tomatoes, etc. Water in well after application. The salts also sometimes work to deter slugs and snails.
