What do you mean by "reduce" the cabinets?

    Hi Kathy,

When you say reduce your kitchen cabinets, do you mean (Make them Smaller - or Lower them)?

I am not sure what you are asking , to reduce , re use , or re do ? If you are asking about re doing the , you have a couple of easy options that you won't need to sand them ...let us know what you want to do...

Hi , if you want to paint them instead of sanding and re staining them , there are 2 different ways to paint , with out having to sand them first ! For me this was a big bonus , a lot less time and mess !!!! My sister and I both used different methods and they both came out great ! Even though there is no sanding and you don't need to use primer , you still have to clean them well . I used 2 products made by Krud Kutter first the de greaser , then the de glosser , I got them at home depot for $6 each . My sister used chalk paint . After it dried she used a sealing wax in the antique finish , this goes on like a stain , you brush it on , then

Wipe it off. I went with advance paint by Benjamin Moore . This is a hybrid paint that brushes and hands wash off with soap and water, but it dries to a hard finish like an enamel . I used 2 coats and that was it ! I posted a tutorial on this site that gives step by step instructions ,
