How to do brown paper bag door?

I think the brown paper bag idea for closet doors is a fabulous idea! I am not sure how big the holes are in your doors. The holes would have to be filled in before you could do the paper bag idea. Maybe if you got some drywall mesh meant to repair drywall holes you could cover the holes with that and then the paper bags would have something to adhere to rather than trying to just cover the hole. I believe some of the mesh available is adhesive backed. Maybe someone else has a better idea to cover the holes!
