If porcelain, make a paste of baking soda and water. Smear on surface. Let set 10 minutes. Scrub, following the porcelain's "grain", then rinse. Second application may be needed.
Follow with thoroughly drying and apply 2 coats of a good car wax. Buff dry.
I think k you are referring to the small cracks around drain of a cultured marble sink/vanity. Those stsrt to appear as the sink starts to deteriorate, they will eventually start leaking. Time to think replacement.
