    Hello there,

I guess you are an optimist? You can never get rid of weeds, the seeds are in the soil and in the air! We can only hope to control them by using weed control (chemical weed killers) or Hand pulling them. If you discover a method the gets rid of them only where you don't want them, - Patent it! Enjoy..........

I agree pulling weeds first and weed killer. Weeds are no fun but I also have a lot of Spring Onions growing all over my flower garden this year. I have never had them this bad I know pulling them up is probably the only way to get rid of them but looking to see if anyone else has had this problem and if so any other advise to get rid of them?

You could pull them out if not too many or for a nontoxic fix pour white vinegar on them. Roundup and other toxic chemicals do work but at the risk of cancer to you and pets.

Hello, hope this helps you, mix 1 cup of salt. 1 tablespoon of dish soap. 1 gallon of vinegar, pour into a spray bottle and spray weeds. Be careful not to spray plants that you love.

Just like vinegar, rubbing alcohol can dry up weeds and kill them. Prepare the solution with one quart of water and two tablespoons of rubbing alcohol, and apply with a spray bottle. It's best to use this solution on a sunny day for better results.

Boiling water for the kill to the root. I have never had much luck with vinegar, dish washing liquid, and salt mixtures no matter what the formulas are.

  • You may kill weeds with natural remedies found in your kitchen, such as vinegar and natural dishwashing liquid, as well as chemicals that you can purchase at hardware stores and equipment. I mix 4 tbsp of natural dishwashing solution with 600ml of vinegar. Give every weed a spray.

I totally agree eith John, I hate to hand pull, because that doesn't even work. I use a good weed and feed and pray for the best.
