Trap them in a live trap and move them far away!

Hi this is Peggy. Here is a natural way to get rid of gophers, hope this is helpful. To repel gophers naturally, try putting a few drops of peppermint oil on cotton balls, and then placing the cotton balls inside tunnel entrances. Gophers do not like thesmell of peppermint, so this non-lethal gopher control method is a natural gopherrepellent that can help rid your yard of these subterranean rodents.

We had this problem last year and we used large traps next to where they were coming in an out under our front porch. I think cantaloupe is the food of choice. ha. The only issue with that is you have to find someone willing to take them back to the woods and...that wasn't me. LOL. My hubby and son didn't mind doing that. Good luck that's awful I know!

Hi ! Go to the dollar store and pick up several pinwheels or garden spinners. Put the stick end into the ground about 5-7 inches , place these near the gopher holes or where you see them. When the wind blows and they spin , it cause a vibration that travels down the stick and into the ground . Gophers , moles, voles, and chipmunk don't like this and will move on . Good luck !
