Our recipe: 1 gallon vinegar, 2 cups epsom salts, 1/3 cup Dawn dish soap (blue kind). We use it to spray on the sidewalk and driveway, but it will kill anything growing. We do not use it in our lawn. Spray in early morning and by eve the weeds will be dead. Works especially well on things like poison ivy etc.
I, too, use the vinegsr, salt and Dawn mixture, though I don't use nearly as much salt or Dawn. I use 1 gallon of vinegar, 1/2-1 cup of table salt, and a squirt of Dawn. Mix well and use a spray bottle to spray the weeds or any areas you don't want weeds or aniy thing to grow. Be careful as it will kill all plants!
