We pay a company to exterminate for weeds,fertilize and potassium for the grass,but can not afford getting cats from the neighbors,one of the houses behind ours has mices and rats I don't doubt snakes what can we used around the fences do our grandkids can go safe to play (some of the cats very wild) even we live in the cityThanksLizzie

If there are rats and mice on neighboring property, there are no snakes as they would be eating them. Contact the city and see if they will help by notifying the owner to tidy up their property. Feral cats won't bother people unless approached or tormented. The noise from children playing will keep them away. Go out with the kids and enjoy your yard! 🌞

Hi Lizzie, you can pull or dig out as many weeds as possible. Hope this helps, mix 1 cup of salt. 1 tablespoon of dish soap. 1 gallon of vinegar, pour into a spray bottle and spray weeds. Be careful not to spray plants that you love. Vinegar will not harm pets or children.
