This is such an eye sore. Any ideas on how to hide it ....with out making it stand out? Big window to the left and kitchen cupboards to the right.

I had the same issue. What I did was went on Pinterest & found a picture of an American flag that I really liked, took my phone to a printing store & had it made just the right size and now I don’t have to look at the eye sore.

I had a similar problem in our garage. I painted garden flowers on it.

Send me the door of it and I will paint shelves on it that will look so real on it and would have kitchen items on the mock shelves. You wouldn't even be able to tell it was a breaker box!

Measure your box. Go to your favorite home decor store and look at the picture prints on open back canvas. Select one you like and position and hang your pretty picture over the box. It should fit perfect!

Hi there, You could use a Notice board/ Menu board to cover it...........

  • Hang a large painting over it. Or paint that wall a dark color and paint the whole thing as well to make it disappear.

I had same problem in my kitchen. I have a rooster & hen theme going on. So I found a rooster tapestry hanging on a rod.

I would use a canvas wide enough to completely cover the box. Either paint a picture on the canvas or decoupage something on the canvas you like. Maybe you can find a painting at the thrift store that is a canvas size that will cover it too?

Some good ideas here to hide it. Since I couldn't think of anything different than those already mentioned to hide it,it popped into my head to do the opposite. Frame and paint to look as if it's a miniature door and add a "door" knob, maybe a miniature wreath to complete the look. An Alice in Wonderland nod.
