How to remove floor tile?
We recently moved into a manufactured home that needs bathroom makeovers starting with the tile floors. What is the easiest way to remove old ceramic floor tiles? The grout is dried up and coming apart. I'm hoping this will be an easy project. Thanks for your help.

If it’s already falling apart, it should be pretty easy to remove. Use a crow bar and hammer, start small, chipping it out until you get an idea of how it was put together. Then keep removing carefully.
Easy is entirely relative, but one way or another, the tiles have to go. Then make sure the base floor is not rotted or loose and replace or repair before you retile or choose a new flooring. Best wishes to you!
Hammer, chisel, floor tile scraper.
Thanks Jewell. The tile was installed by an elderly 'handyman' about 15 years ago, and in a 20yr+ mobile home you can imagine what I'm dealing with. Nothing is level, plumb, square, etc. and everything needs to be repaired or replaced now. Blessed to have a home, so I'm not really complaining, just frustrated with everything falling apart at the same time. Thanks for suggestions and encouragement.
