Try Goo gone
Goo Gone
If you spilled some glue, GooGone will work. If it’s just (clear) dried white glue, use hot soapy water and a plastic scraper, even a plastic knife. If you are talking about removing the Linoleum, William ‘s citations seem very informative.
Goo Gone
Use baby oil and paper towels, cotton balls or Terry cloth(wash cloth).
Try WD-40. It will remove some types of glue on some surfaces. Just be careful- will make it slippery.
