How can I repurpose a fluted Tart pan with writing embossed on the bottom? I have a beach theme going on so would like to use it with my beach stuff.

I have one of those, but with a raised bottom. I can’t quite remember the mix I used to cook in it. I suggest drilling a hole in the bottom for a clockwork kit. Smooth glue on the inside bottom and sprinkle with sand or sparkly silica. Glue a seashell or dried starfish at each hour position, or maybe even in the center. Of course you can spray paint the pan in beach colors inside and out, and use colored sand. A final coat of polyurethane or two should keep most of the sand in place for a long time. Enjoy your beach theme! 🌅

I would probably cut a piece of sheet metal to fit about 1/2 of the tart pan and glue various sized seashells on it. Fill spaces with sand. If there is a pocket space, fill it with flowers and greens.

There is a recipe to make sand into a " clay " you can form it and it dries hard .

unfortunately , I don't have the recipe anymore , but I am sure you can find it online . I would hang the tin from the hole at the end , fill each muffin space with the same clay and rest a shell in each space . Or you can fill each section with a combo of sand , beach pebbles and tiny shells and put a votive candle

    set into it .
