The ones I have removed needed to be unscrewed from below. Maybe check inside for sunken screws or brackets.
Flip it over and look for screws to remove the top.

You need to locate all the attaching screws, some are recessed or hidden, look at it from all angles to figure this out. You may have to go by trial and error to see what loosens up and where it is still attached. Then go after them.
It is probably screwed in so I would unscrew it. If it's glued it will be harder to pull off without damaging it.
