What paint do you use for chair fabric?

I have seen a few projects lately on pinterest and I cant say I can convinced chalk paint is the best choice. The ones I saw you can still see the fabric design through the paint. The ones that added a few coats found that it cracked. So good idea to do lots of research if you are going to be using a good piece of furniture.

I used latex paint and fabric medium, which I do not recommend. I've seen a lot of people use chalk paint with better results. Try Annie Sloan. It's expensive, but I've found that it goes a long way.

Hi Carol! You'll want to use a chalk based or mineral based paint to paint fabric. :) Have a spray bottle with water. Spritz water onto fabric before you begin to paint the fabric. This will help work the paint into the fabric! :)
