Hello there, The ramp needs to be (1 in 12) and would need to be across the front of the home and return. There are Companies that construct these as a norm. and should be able to discuss the project with you and give you a price. You might be best to ask them first before trying to fix it yourself. If you have a disability you may be able to get some help...........

First, are you making this ADA acceptable ramp for wheelchair or just to have a sloping way inside?

Clearly this is a very large rise and is not even on any chart, meaning you must make a ramp with a turn-around to go higher. Or, you may want to think about an electric lift like for a van.

As a handyman, I have built many ramps for people over the years. However, with the price of lumber skyrocketing, aluminum ramps are now pretty close to the same cost and offer many advantages over wood ramps.
