Need to put a ramp up to my mobile home that is 4 feet off the ground
Hope these plans help! http://theselfsufficientliving.com/16-free-ramp-plans-learn-how-to-build-various-ramps/
A large ramp is no small tackle good luck!
That will be a long one. They make ramps you can rent from medical supply businesses.
Hello there, The ramp needs to be (1 in 12) and would need to be across the front of the home and return. There are Companies that construct these as a norm. and should be able to discuss the project with you and give you a price. You might be best to ask them first before trying to fix it yourself. If you have a disability you may be able to get some help...........
What a beautiful piece of property! I would be jumping for joy with all that green space. See if these sites help you out.
First, are you making this ADA acceptable ramp for wheelchair or just to have a sloping way inside?
This will give you an idea of what length ramp you need at what degree of angle:
Clearly this is a very large rise and is not even on any chart, meaning you must make a ramp with a turn-around to go higher. Or, you may want to think about an electric lift like for a van.
If this is for a disabled person, check various charities and foundations for either economic assistance and/or build assistance!
