    You can have it resharpened at a prof knife sharpening shop.

    I would take it to a pro that sharpens knives and have it done right and not damage the metal. That would be your best bet. My hubby takes care of my knives, but you don't know if the metal is straight and so forth and a pro could probably fix that with the tools that they use.

    Or if you know someone that makes knives take it there. It is not uncommon I know two different people that make knives and they sharpen just a favor to customers.

    Is the metal in the blade a good quality, and is the blade edge bent, nicked, gouged or damaged in another way?

    Is the handle securely fastened?
