You need an enzyme cleaner/deodorizer like Natures Miracle from the pet store.

What kind of material is your couch made from? If it an upholstery material you can use the upholstery attachment on a carpet cleaner and clean it. Once you clean the cushions-if they are removable-take them outside to dry in the sun. If it is micro suede you will have to get the right cleaning product for your type of micro suede. If it is leather you can clean it with leather cleaner/conditioner. Here are some instructions for cleaning micro suede. https://www.wikihow.com/Clean-Microsuede-Furniture

what is couch made of? what do you mean by scent?just the dog itself(bathe it more often just use mild shampoo like baby shampoo so their skin doesn't get too dry) then use upholstery cleaner/Bissell carpet cleaner;Pee?Poop? Not all enzyme cleaners are equally effective. Good enzyme cleaners are typically a bit more expensive. Cheap ones like Natures Miracle will work, but need to be reapplied over and over (and probably end up costing as much as the more expensive enzyme cleaners). Enzyme cleaners that work well and reliably include Nok Out, Urine Off, and Anti-Icky Poo. put a blanket or thick towel where the dog lies so the smell does not get directly on the upholstery

Thank you! It’s a fabric couch. Just purchased a few months ago. We bathe the dog every other weekend. I’ve just noticed a dog smell on it recently. Fabreeze only hides for a day or two. We are in South Texas where it’s beginning to get warm outside!
