Don’t cut the leaves off before they die. This will put energy back to the bulb and aid in multiplying. Do not dig them up! After they leaves are brown they can easily be removed. Same as with daffodils. Deer will eat tulips, but not touch daffodils. Enjoy!
After the bulbs have finished nlooming and the leaves had died off, just pull them off. They will come off easily, if a bulblet dislodges, replant it back. The plant should return next spring.
Cut them down to ground and just leave them till they come up next time then trim again after they bloom
