How do I pull up old linoleum?
Started to pull up some old linoleum in a powder room. But now the paper from the back of the linoleum is stuck on the floor. Was I supposed to do something else? Now how do I get the paper up?

Hi Laurie, using GooGone or another type of oil such as vegetable oil will help to remove the paper residue as it likely has some glue still attached. Rub the vegetable oil into the paper well and let it absorb for a few minutes, then scrape with a metal tool. Then wash well with hot soapy water.
Under the paper is press board. Do you think it’s OK to get that wet?
I appreciate your input! Thanks ❗️
