  • There are many plants you can incorporate into your garden. I also use patio fans, I have one at each end of the patio facing the seating and serving area. On low it moves enough air that flying insects do not care for the area and stay away.

Spraying original Listerine in the air is a great mosquito repellant. We finally spent some money and bought a Dyna-Trap which is the best investment yet.

When I lived in SW Florida I used Avon's Skin so soft oil. It really worked well for me. I would get huge welts from the no-seeums if I didn't use something. It also worked on the screens that they seemed to be able to get through.

Mix warm water with a citrus-scented detergent, like an orange or lemon dish soap. Add a splash of mouthwash to the mixture, and then shake it well. Put in spray bottle, and start spraying your plants and the walls of your house with it.Bugs will leave these areas alone
