Hello Lexie! Cucumbers like warm humid sunny weather and lots of organic mulch in the soil! If you give them what they need you will have more cucumbers than you know what to do with!

Cukes love lots of room and sun with watering.
They don’t like to be crowded and can easily become quite large. I’ve always found the huge one under foliage at the end of the growing season.
Remeber they love being planted in a mound. Just be careful about their tentacles being torn off.
Make sure they are put into the ground as at the same level they are in the pot. Put some kind of mulch down, whatever you decide to use, I use shredded leaves and grass clippings to help nourish the soil. Use a vegetable fertilizer as directed, but give it a while before you fertilize, a few days at least. Make sure you have something for the plants to grow up, trellising or fencing, that way critters have a hard time getting to the cucumbers or flowers to munch on and you will get more produce that way, too. Mine grows on the chain link fence that is on the perimeter of the property and follows it both ways to become very long lines. They also can get more sun not shaded by other plants. I only plant two or three plants and get enough fruit to supply my family, my brother and neighbors out of the plants. Good luck with your cucumber plants, Lexie!
