What plants should I use?

I'm in Canada n nave a small garden in front of house n a big planter that's made if fiber glasse about20 inches on one side then other sides same a square the height is about24-30 inches then a small garden in sack yard. What could I plant. Preference bulbs. Both front n back get sun front morning sun till 1130 n backyard sun all day except for few hrs in a.m helo thanks...I was found to get a rose Bush small but u have to trim it back n I'm petrified of spiders. No on vinè also.

Hi, Go down to you plant centre at the beginning of each season and buy bulbs that are available at that time. That way you will get a succession of flowering throughout the year.
