How do I paint my kitchen cupboards without removing the doors?

    Hello Dixie. You can paint your cabinets without removing the doors but it's not going to be easy and it's not going to look good when you get done. When you open the doors on your cabinets there is a bit of a space on the hinge side of your cabinet frame. That will have to be painted--it would be hard to smush a paintbrush into that area and have it look nice. It would slow down your painting time messing around with those areas. If you want to paint your upper cabinet doors while they are on--you would have to stand on a ladder to paint the top edge/high side edge of the doors. The bottom cabinet doors would also be a problem. I suppose you could lie down on the floor and paint the bottom edge of the doors. If you want a nicer looking job take off the cabinet doors and paint the doors and the cabinet boxes separately.

    I agree with GK. It would be much easier and look nicer if you remove the doors.
