I live in the country and rodents chew up my car. How do I keep them out of my car? I have no garage.

Soak cotton balls in peppermint oil and place around the car, probably inside if you can handle the smell. I like the smell but it is strong.

You can buy a peppermint & cinnamon oil spray and it works well also.

We have a farmhouse and had rodent issues, this fixed it.

Thanks Kathy! I'll try that. Tired of auto repair bills from them.

I know the feeling. They ate throw the wires in my husband's car once. Oh, I thought of one other thing. Glue traps. Don't know if you can put them out but if one crawls across it, they get stuck. We put a few of those in MIL's garage. I've heard a guy also caught a snake on 1 once. Oh My!

Hi Donna. I have had the same issue. I put mouth balls under the hood. It kept them away but if you don't like the smell this wouldn't be for you.

I have also heard that dryer sheets work to repel mice. Not sure how effective it is. Many people put them in their campers when storing them over the winter.

Thanks GK. I did that with peppermint candy's in our RV.
