How do I get paint off of hard wood floors?
I know that alcohol works but it does take a lot of time. The paint has been on the floors for quite some time,I believe.

Have you tried a razor blade scraper?
Hi Theresa, If denatured alcohol doesn't work, it probably means the paint was oil based paint. Try using mineral spirits and a rag.
Good luck!
Have you tried a plastic scraper?
It is easier if the paint is in a droplet form, scrape it off. If the paint is more spread out, as if it was intentionally painted , then go with denatured alcohol or mineral spirits, and wear gloves.
Try a new or very sharp razor blade and scrape it off. Make sure you test an inconspicuous spot first to make sure you don't remove any of the floor itself.
Try a really sharp razorblade in a utility knife and scrape at it at an angle. I would try to dampen the paint first with mineral spirits.
