    Hello there, Leet the air dry it out! You could of course try spraying it with something like Oust or Febreez, or other fabric freshener. Good luck!

    Hi Diane,

    As a first step you could try a power wash. If that does not help as much as you need then here's the next step to do:

    You could try mixing in vanilla extract (artificial is fine) and spray it on. Vanilla is used by oil companies to stop the smell of fuel oil, so it should work for you. Some have had good results with this.

    If you are talking about train ties, that stuff goes all the way through. You can use around flowers, but not a food garden.
