A picture would be helpful. If you can't take a picture what about providing some dimensions to convey an idea of what you have to work with. Is this a full bath with a tub and or shower? If it is a small bathroom I wouldn't think a walk in closet would be a good idea they take up a lot of room. Why not some shallow open shelving?

A walk-in closet won’t fit in a small bathroom. Is this what you mean?

Clothes closets are not typically put in small bathrooms because of the high humidity, growing mildew on clothes.

I’ve designed many large master suites where both the shower & the adjacent walk-in closet, had windows, for that reason.

Here are the dimensions for building a walk-in closet: 2’ deep for each row of clothes, 3’ for the aisle (30” in a pinch). =7’ wide for a double-loaded closet.

You can’t skimp on the clothing depth, and put man-sized clothing in there.

Walk in closet are cheap to build. Basic framing, drywall & rods & shelves. There should be lots of videos on YT, that will measure than me writing it all down.

You can save $90 by hanging a curtain in the doorway, not a door.

You’re going to need an electrician to put in a light for you.

Do you want to get rid of the bathroom? That's really not a good idea to remove a bathroom, you'll decrease the value of your home.
