How to remove or fix wood table top rings and finish missing?

My table has been WELL USED. But still sturdy and in good condition. Except for the finish missing in a few spots and a ring from a glass. How can I fix without refinishing? I know about the Eagle glazes I can use but this top has some inlay.

Repair may depend upon what type of finish is on the table. You can put a TINY bit of denatured alcohol on a cotton ball or rag. Rub the ring to see what happens. Alcohol will dissolve shellac and remove the ring.

You could give this a try. Let me know if it works.

I used mayonnaise to remove white spots on my table. Let it sit overnight and rubbed it off in the morning.

Place a cloth over the water ring. An iron set to medium heat and iron over the cloth. To finish....scuff the surface with a green kitchen scrubby or 0000 steel wool. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Then apply three coats of a water based polyurethane. Your choice of sheen.
