TV is mounted on a solid brick wall. Any suggestions on how to hide unsightly cables?

Plastic cable covers are available now. Ask at your local TV store as to what is the best.

  • Cord covers! Sold everywhere. Office supply stores or home improvement centers have the best selection. Or on line. Then paint same as wall color to make them disappear.

I think it would be less obvious if the cables were all routed down in the middle and then up all on one side. You can paint the wires the color of the wall for the few inches that would show below the TV or get a cord cover. Either way it would look better for the cords to be in the corners than going across the walls. You could also use a wood strip of small crown moulding across the bottom to cover the cords. It wouldn't have to be attached. I think you could put some open back black shelves on the right side of the fireplace sitting on the red heath and going up to the ledge to house the boxes etc. Then you would have a triangle of black.

Paint the cords the same color as the wall.
