The mesh was welded to the side bar. One way is to use steel wire and weave the mesh to the bar. May need a screwdriver and pliers to keep parts together while weaving. I suggests double weaving for strength.
I should be welded back.
If you don't have your heart set on keeping it metal, you can diy a new seat with macrame.

if it will be covered with a cushion, you could also use zip ties spaced along the length to hold mesh to side rail. Then just trim the excess “tail” of the zip tie.
