Start with a paint for walls and ceiling. I love a rich cream color for both, myself. If the chairs are upholstered, perhaps pick a color from them as accent color (s), or reupholster them. Face the chairs toward the tv which can sit on the table you already have. Choose pretty bedding and make it as luxurious and cozy as you wish. A beautiful throw or quilt folded across the end of the bed is one way. One or two pretty throw pillows, not too many, is nice to add another dimension of coziness and color. Make, or buy, lined curtain panels to give a nice look and block light for mornings you get to sleep in! Night stands are a necessity for phones, glasses, a good book. These do not have to be matching. I love to go to thrift stores and secondhand stores for things like lamps and nightstands. You can paint lamp bases if they are not to your taste. You can paint the nightstands as well. While at these thrift stores look for pictures, or just nice frames that you can put art work into. Second hand dressers can be painted, stained or reworked any number of ways to provide you with storage.
