How to fix a metal door?

I have a metal door that I painted but the dog keeps scratching it off. I think it was primed from the place we bought it. Anyway how to I fix this?

You would need to replace the primer that is scratched off and then paint.
As stated above. Make sure you paint with a formula that is for metal door. Is this interior or exterior? Also, ask for advice regarding this specific problem. Check with Sherwin Williams. If it isn't very high up you might want to add a door kick plate which will cover 6" or 8" unless you have one custom made.
It is almost impossible to keep the paint from scratching from your dogs. I would sand down the area as smooth as possible and reapply the paint.
