I want to replant my Cana lily bulbs but we have had alot of rain and I want to know if it's to wet will the bulbs rot? thanks.
Call the extension agent in your area. They should be able to give specifics. Good luck!
Hi Sharon, here's a good article about cana lillies, and they actually do like moist soil... though probably not soaking wet. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/canna/canna-lily-care.htm
Here is a guide but it sounds like it is too wet for you for now... https://www.easytogrowbulbs.com/pages/cannas-planting-guide
It is likely that your canna bulbs will rot in wet soil. Try planting them in containers to get them started and then putting them in the ground when it dries up. Or, you could just grow your cannas in containers this year.
