What is presently covering the floor that you want to re-do, and what type of new floor covering would you like it changed to?
You can do an easy yet gorgeous and inexpensive floor with vinyl (peel and stick) tiles from home improvement stores. They have many that look like wooden planks...can be cut with shears....so easy to do.
Here's my "peel and stick" floor...cost less than $60....completed in 1 afternoon
Carpet remnants. They can bind the edges for you. Probably least expensive floor around.
