How do I paint my bathroom fixtures made of fiberglass/plastic?
I rent and in my bathroom I have a pail yellow garden tub and surround. My sink is the same color I think but over theirs has lost most of the color. It’s so dated and ugly is there a way to paint, stain, or anything besides replacing that will change the appearance thank you

There is a special paint made for painting sinks and tubs. You should be able to find in most stores that sell paints. My daughter painted a tub that was "worn" and it look fabulous after she had completed the painting.
If you rent and some how the owner not like it or it malfunctions, you will end up PAYING to have it replaced (EXPENSIVE) you would be better off to try and revive the color (think detailing your car exterior) try a GOOD cleaner/polish for plastic and try a small section for results. You may need to use RUBBING COMPOUND if the co;or does not come back with the cleaner/polish
My kids used RustOleum tub kit to paint a yellow garden tub. It's a 2 person job, vent the area well, wear respirators, and follow the instructions exactly. It's been 2 years and still looks great. If they can do it, anyone can.
There are Rustoleum kits you can use, but I would make sure it's okay with your landlord first. It's a big change.
