How do I keep the deer from eating my plants?
place that soap called Irish in a netting or nylon stocking. I think the smell keeps them away.
Usually netting or fencing.
Yes Arlene you are right it is Irish Spring soap. But I grate it first then sprinkle it around my plants. I also use the spray sold at all Garden Centers. Only thing is after a rain you have to go and respray and it gets that I had heard this summer is going to be hot and rainy. But this is in NY. So now if I purchase any new plants I go to the section at our Garden Center Deer Free Plants. I will say this, the Irish Spring Soap has to be the plain one. Not the different scented ones. But it did not work in my veggie garden. Good Luck!

Best thing is really high fencing.
