How do I even out my curtains?

I got a new slider door. I bought curtains for it. They have grommets. The width I bought was plenty. Anyhoo, they don’t cover my door at the top all the way. When I pull them, too short but the mid and bottom are fine.! Any suggestions? I know I have to take them back. Any help from my home talk family would be greatly appreciated! This is my first time buying curtains with grommets. Thanks 🙏 pals.!

It isn't entirely clear where the curtain panels are too short.

The problem could be arising from some other area other than the grommets. It may not be necessary to return the curtains yet. The panels could be hemmed unevenly, or, I am also wondering if perhaps the curtain rod is not level. Did you mount it yourself, and if so, did you use a level?

It is really best if you could post a picture or two. That way it will be easier to see what the situation is.

  • What is the height of the door? What is the length of the curtains? How is the rod placed? Confused as to how the "mid to bottom" are ok? A photo would really help!
