Hi Melody, First, mold is usually a cause of moisture. You need to find the source of moisture, and fix the cause, or it will keep coming back. For example, if you find mold in your bathroom, it's a ventilation issue or a leaky pipe. Under a window could be rotted wood from rain etc...

I agree with Suzette. Once you fix the source and clean it, then use an ozone machine to eliminate any remaining odors and spores.
Oy! I went through things like this with my ex. If he won't remediate and he's fighting for the house, take lots of pictures and call in 2-3 experts and get their written reports and estimates before you do anything. If you have a health issue, get a doctor's note. Then, call your lawyer and deliver all the above. He may be able (through the other lawyer) to get your husband to cooperate on taking care of this. Neither of you could even sell the house with this problem!
Then, follow your lawyer's advice on what to do.
If hubby won't pay others, try to get him forced to do the work with you, making you both responsible equally.
Hi Melody, here is a video that should help you, good luck
