Ginny, as a professional housekeeper, I find that the source of most odors in the bathroom is the area between the toilet flange and the floor as well as the area around the toilet bolts. Clean these areas thoroughly as well as the area where the seat hinge is. Once I've cleaned these, I spray them down with something like a window cleaner and wipe them again with a dry cloth. This helps eradicate those little nasty spots that are hard to see but hold odors.

So glad to help!! Yes, that's a nasty hiding place, isn't it? But the nose knows! 😂 😂

I recently ordered this essential oil diffuser and use it in my bedroom but am considering getting one for the spare bathroom now also. It is silent and has an array of colors that is runs or you can turn the light off completely. It adds a nice scent and is not over whelming.
