Ask 50 people and you will get 50 answers. Epsom salt is not the same as table salt. Without giving a science lesson, too much vinegar and table salt, it can render the soil barren and without removing soil, amending heavily, you won't be able to grow anything for a long time.

I am lazy. I just have plain old white vinegar in a pump sprayer. I also use boiling water or Epsom salt followed by boiling water. I also am in zone 9 where it is extremely dry (less than 10% humidity), and 100°+ for months on end. I can literally spray a weed and watch it shrivel and die in a matter of minutes provided it is in full sun.
Do your homework and decide which method is best for you. I am anti-Round Up for more reasons than I can count. I also have many pets, and visiting children. And grow herbs, fruits and vegetables and want to keep my property as chemical free as possible.

This is not an exact science – approximate measures are totally fine 1 gallon white vinegar and cup Epsom salts and ¼ cup liquid dish soap Combine ingredients in spray bottle and treat weeds at the hottest time of day for best results.
