Will the combination of vinegar, Epsom salts & dawn kill dirt area 2?
I am wondering if the mixture to kill weeds, will keep anything from growing in the area or will plants still grow ?

I use the recipe ONLY where there are weeds (like driveway and sidewalk cracks etc) It will kill everything. You MAY be able to spray the area after the weeds are gone and clean the environment with lots of rain/watering, then try growing more there with some new potting soil etc.

I keep seeing this and have sprayed weeds numerous times and they didn't even die.
I spray with plain white vinegar constantly. It is water soluble and in most cases the soil recovers pretty quickly. If you add salt or soap, it might take a bit of time before anything will grow without amending the soil heavily.
