Will cucumbers grow in a planter?

    Yes my entire is in totes or 5 gal buckets. This is the,7th yr of gardening this way. I do add tum tablets once a month. I have 9 tomatoes, 2 cucmbers, 2 kinds lettuce, spinach, radishes, beets, Zuchinni and summer squash, peas, green beans, sweet corn and lots of herbs

    Yes. There are bush cucumbers that don't spread or climb. Just make sure you have a large planter and feed them every week. They need to be in full sun.

    My dad always grew them in a half 55 gallon drum LOL!, He had a few holes in the bottom for drainage; and then simply added a couple inches of water a few times a week and let it flow through. Worked great.
